I have moved back into an area where I lived years ago. Lost contact with many old friends. Is there a database where I can search for free if someone has passed away?

I recently got married and my maiden name was Julien V. Ramos. My husband's last name is Spencer. So now is my new name "Julien V. Spencer" or "Julien R. Spencer"??

I know it sounds like a silly question, but everyone I've asked so far doesn't know either.

Do I keep my middle initial or does my maiden last name become my middle initial??

Help! I'm confused!

Im trying to find my father Lawrence Mcgugan. He would be an african american male, around 53 yrs old. He was originally from Newark NJ, but it appears that the last place he could have lived was Houston Texas. Any information regarding this man, or how can I look for him would be helpful. (I've already used ancestory.com)

One of the children of Alvin and Laura listed above was George Washington Long b. 1956 more info From all the records I have Frank Long was born on Sept.14,1876 in Allegheny County , Pa. His father was Frank Long and his mother was Annie.
I have a copy of the 1920 census taken in Bristol on Jan. 16th. and it lists Frank and Mama being married with him 43 and mama 21. No children are listed so I am assuming that Ben and John were dead and Ed was just a few days from being born.
I believe that the marriage license is the only document that lists him as Alvin Frank Long. Everything else just says Frank.
(George Washington Long – he now lives in Crossville , Tennessee . He’s 80, he was born in 1926 and was a Christian Church minister for 55 years) Any help you could give me in finding anything out would be greatly appreciated.

I've got loads of info on my father's maternal line and my grandfather's maternal line but is paternal line is hard for me to trace. Thomas Jefferson Reed was evidently born in or near Coshocton Ohio and moved to Massillon Ohio. His son, Thomas Franklin Reed, was an ENT doctor until his death in 1921 in Massillon. My father Thomas Kenyon Reed lived in Massillon all his life and was a dentist there. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction?

An old family tree shows my grandfather and his family as coming from Invenitz. I have always been told he was from Minsk, so perhaps it is near there. At any rate, he lived in a shtetl somewhere in the Pale of Settlement and am interested in finding out where, on a map, it would be. Thank you.
