Not many in my family will tell me much, she used to tell me not to tell folks we had Gypsy in us or they wouldnt let me play with them. Now I'm old and dont care, just wondering about my roots.

I'm asking because my mothers maiden name was Spears. She had several sisters in and around Kentwood and Amite. My mothers name was Lois Yvonne Spears. Her sisters were Elaine, Alvene, Diane and her brothers were Oklon Spears, Jr. and Charles Miller.
