Ellis Island was registering people. The manifest is created when boarding. But, when immigrants enter the US, a child could be noted on the immigration. You should look.

Ellis Island records online begin around 1892, 1894. Your best bet is to try the United States Census and use those documents to record her life. You can also check with one of the counties she lived in. Her father would have had to been naturalized to become a US citizen. While they didn't do that for women, it would give you another link to your family. You could also see if there's any marriage records with the county office, land records, or death records. They recorded these in large books and will often let you copy information. This might give you a clue to the country she came from if you don't have that information already.
