if the life event happened in Kew then that's where it would have been registered. I don't know how many registry offices there are in Kew. We have quite a few where I live so it was just a matter of going around to all the registry offices until I found the right one for my family history. The cost of a certificate from your local registry office is £7:00, if you have to apply to the general registry office I think the price is now £11:50, good luck with your search.

At the Kew record office. however if you go online to 'findmypast.co.uk'
you might be able to track down waht you are looking for there.
