Read Entertainment Weekly Special Collectors Issue Goodbye,Harry.
In the Final Cut Editorial by Mark Harris He gives his thoughts on how J. K. Rowling ended Harry Potter's saga. It is insightful and informative.
Spoiler Alert Of course.

Who is your favorite Kurt Vonnegut Jr. character and why?

P.S. Sadly, just trying to counteract some of the HP questions with something a little more substantial/cerebral…

I really liked the Harry Potter series. I also read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer and loved it. I like books that you can think about, but aren't boring. What book should I read now?

just for pleasure reading, please give me the title and maybe a little about what the book is about.

i don't usually read for fun, but i feel like i should broaden my horizons and get into it. so all suggestions are welcome because i'm not really particular at this point, i don't really know what i want to read.

About a man and woman at home. The government controls all thoughts and everyone is literraly equal: weights attached to body parts, pieces in ears that create sound if you try to think above a set IQ, sort of like a kurt vonnegut story, 2br02b.

The man's son eventually breaks free from jail and appears on television and takes off his "equality" revealing his body potential, his strength, etc at a ballerina show. eventually he's shot down by the government.

In the past, we've read Anne Rice. Some of our readers can't handle anything too scary (like Haunting of Hill House) but otherwise we're pretty open to suggestions.

I'll start. I would say thank you. Some of my most cherished memories with my kids had to do with reading Harry Potter to them nearly every night for the last 7 1/2 years. Sure it was our choice to read her books and our choice to become big fans; but her contribution is still appreciated. The ending also hit a chord with me. My oldest is reading the 7th book on his own now. He likes to pick on my middle kid who just finished her first year of going to school full time. Meanwhile, my youngest gave me the "I want to go to school too" bit. Life goes on and yet I still hear the same taunts, songs, and games that we said, sang and played as kids. Some things don't change. I'm sure her books will last generations too. I'll look forward to anything she writes in the future...Oh, and I hope she enjoys her break.

about dog training are the best? There are so many books and they all say some of the same things, but also some very different things. Has anyone ever used one that actually worked for them? I read a review for the ebook "sitstayfetch" and it had an excellent rating but I prefer a hard copy, not an ebook.
