It would be entirely too easy to insert a sexual joke here, but im not gonna. Is this for a game your making? Or a book your writing? Whatever the case may be manslaughter sounds alot worse than it really is. Basically your actions lead to the "accidental" death of someone else. So you can make it sound like an accident and make the character 'bad' but really a good guy. If your looking for evil, then 1st degree murder, here in NY the only way you can get that charge is by killing an officer.

Hey. So, you want a crime... ok, think homicide. Say, his girlfriend found out he was cheating on her with his bosses wife. So, she threatens to tell and have him fired, but he works at a really high paying company, and he doesnt want to call of his affair, OR lose his job. So he kills her. But do you want details? Also, if you want more ideas, a suggestion is to watch Law and Order. The whole show is about crimes. But i can help you more if you want more help!

Have you seen any episodes of the TV series Angel?
Basic Premise: A 200 year-old vampire is cursed with a soul. He remembers and remorses his past deeds (killing, drinking blood....especially women and children) while still a vampire.
He now fights evil to try and redeem himself.
