I need a traumatic death for a story?

Question

This is just for a story I'm writing in my spare time. I need a character's dad to die in someway that is worse than say...having his dad die in the hospital.

Have him die alone with nobody there for him, and, this is a bit clique, with the son getting in a biiiiiiiiig *** fight with him, and have them say the most hateful things to each other,

and then the killer shows up and...

uh, the killer somehow knows that the father and the son had a big fight and have him say "Nobody loves you...Your son is paying to have you killed because he doesn't care if you're alive or dead..."

something along those lines...
so that the emotional damage makes it so much more traumatic.

and then he dies with a knife stuck through his eye.



How's that?

A stomach wound. Usually a gunshot wound, but anything piercing will do. It releases all the stomach/bowel contents into the blood turning it septic.

Apparently a very slow, extremely painful way to die.

How's this? I know someone (true story) who literally bled to death without an exterior wound. He died of internal bleeding, the blood remained in his body but not in his veins so there wasn't enough to pump the heart and it stopped. He was driving at the time, if that helps.

Do a search on-line for deaths related to PTO (Power Take Off) units. This usually results in dismemberment.

have someone shoot a bullet through his jugular then blood with rush out like a waterfall and he'll barf his guts up and they'll ooze out through his eye sockets and then they'll hang him.
