not happy with the way HP7 ended?

In the Final Cut Editorial by Mark Harris He gives his thoughts on how J. K. Rowling ended Harry Potter's saga. It is insightful and informative.
Spoiler Alert Of course.

Yes I am. It up sets me that people are 2nd guessing Ms. Rowling's choice to end Harry's story.

Are you happy with the way it ended, cuz' I am, I loved it!! The only thing I didn't like about the end was Albus Severus name... i wouldn't call my kid that. Other than that it was fantastic.

I liked the ending very much except the fact that J.K. Rowling left me wondering what happened after the battle and before the first of September of 19 years later.

My only complaint was not knowing what everyone's occupation was at the end, and she explained that later in an interview.

As for what happened, well, I have to say it was very deep and profound and affected me strongly. It's also classic in its way and my respect for Rowling is unbounded.

ya a lot of my friends were mad at the way she ended it

but i thought it was genius, b/c it made you feel warm and happy inside! for a change

I think the ending was the best part. I don't see how anybody could not like it.

Honestly, I am sad she didn't kill Harry. Not that I didnt like him... it was just, she built up the suspence and then he lived. Gah.

The rest was excellent though!
