The first agent I called turned me down flat because she said I had no authority on the subject (a religious theory) she said unless I had some degree in theology noone would want to represent it and a question that kept coming up was 'who are you to tell me about God?' and they didn't mean it in a bad way-they are trying to make it clear that I'm no expert SO I've decided to make it into a story book although I have some big ideas I'm unsure how to tie in my religious theory.

My question is basically what is a good way to get my book on the shelves, that includes getting an agent etc

I just read 'The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer, My Life At Rose Red.'
Steven King filmed a mini-series about the house. The story takes place in Seattle, WA.
Of course I don't believe the haunted tale, but I have heard of a huge house that never was finished. I am trying to find a photo of it.

If so, how long? Or is the classification as a novel have more to do with plot and genre rather than length?

Thanks.

i did and it felt fantastic.
this wasn't a random book, it was a book signed by an authoour with a message from him inside, i burnt it because he broke my heart, he was somebody i knew and worked with.
by burning it i felt alot of closure.

It's a series I've just discovered and I really liked the first chapter when I read it online. It's about this viking boy called Peer - don't tell me the story - just, should I buy it? Is it good?

They say people read the first few pages (five at most) to get a sense of the story. Do you like the beginning to my story? I think it's catchy. And it's short. And if you like it, go on to Chapter 2 which is quite paced too.

Please comment on here and there (if you can) I'd like to know your opinion. Some of you may know me as Marc Hector.

The picture on the left is the Hero of the story.

I remember reading this as a kid and loved it..it is a large sized childrens picture book with text ....about a little girl who has a ghost living in her attic , and one night she feels neglected and decides that being a ghost would be much more exciting than being a girl so she puts on a sheet and tries to frighten everyone , meanwhile the ghost free of its haunting duties puts on her dress and plays with her toys.. the girl realizes being a ghost isn't very exciting and they switch back.

I can't remember the title or the names of the characters ..nor the author of the book.. only that the illustrations were unique in that they were all in three basic colors.. a grey background highlighted with white and blue and the drawings ..such as the girls hair and dress ..had a 1940's/ early 1950's look to them.

Any information or help on this is really appreciated ..thanks for reading

If you're like me, and like to read, you must have a particular book (sometimes more than just one) that had a great impact on your way of thinking, on your life. what is it? Author? Main idea? Please be honest! It can be about surfing, psychology or bird watching...the important thing is its relevance to you.

On wikipedia.com, they list the history of character in the book. On wikipedia, Charlie Weasley has been call the"outdoors type" by his brother Percy. Can you tell me where this was mentioned in the series and what page? I have already looked on HP-Lexicon. Also in the Goblet of Fire, Ron said that Fred and George never made fun of Charlie because of his "physical fitness." Can you please tell me where that statement was made in the 4th book?

I like to write fantasy stories. Whether it be fan fictions about J-rockers, or stories about my favorite anime, or some off the top of my head. Right now I am thinking of writing a ninja story. But i'd like to know how to get some ideas about like what could happen. What can I do?

ok well, heres the thing. I love my girlfriend to death and weve been dating since early 06 and I like to give her little gifts every now and then out of the blue. She mentioned somthing today about wanting a good book. She likes ones that deal with 17 year old girl stuff, ya know somthing she can relate too. Im also thinking of maybe a love story, but nothing graphic and extremely sex related. im not trying to push anything like that on her. I just want somthing that she'll like and will make her smile. soooo any suggestions?

thank you,
Logan
