Well, I kinda think that Ginny could've found someone much better than Harry, but whatever. Her loss.
I was kinda sad Hermione and Viktor Krum didn't work out...

teddy is NINETEEN at the epilousge (obviously) but we are not sure how old Victorie is. Based on the name I would say maybe she was concieved right around the time harry succeeded over Voldemort, so maybe she could be nineteen as well? And here is another longshot of mine:
It is possible that Bill and Fleur had other children, and he was helping her deliver off her other borhters and or sisters.
OR he wanted to see her and she is seventeen or something and since he is wizard he can get through the gate and snog her one last time until a Hogsmeade visit or until Christmas. Like I said, a long shot.
And Ginny and Harry getting together? Well, was it really unexpected? Better her than Cho I think, because Cho was bursting at the seams everytime- IN THE BOOK. But in the movie, she was pretty cute wasn't she? plus she was forced to tell the truth :(. I don't know--- I mean, I LOVE THE BOOK, I sure your opinion on it but it was pretty much expected that they would marry each other.

I like tonks_op's answer - so original and got me thinking though I can't be sure if JK Rowling had that in mind for sure.
I think Ginny should have died to give Harry a sense of loss - I mean come on: Harry kills Voldemort (so anti-climactic) and then goes get married with the High-School crush... er, no!
So I think Ginny should have been murdered by Lord Voldemort and 19 years later, Harry would have a big house and a nice pretty wife (maybe like a Ravenclaw sweetheart) and children and in this big house they would live as a happy family... but Harry has this room in that house, just one room, with a large portrait of a small redhead girl, smiling and winking at him, and that's when his wife tells the children, "don't disturb your father now."
"What's he doing, mum?"
And the mother will smile sweetly, "he's paying tribute to the one girl he ever truly loved."
And Harry would stay there, mesemerised, just watching her, eyes brimming with tears, wondering whether he will ever see her again... and Ginny in the portrait will whisper, "one day my love... over the brook , and under the willow... one day my love... we shall meet once more..."
Please tell me that's a much better ending than "All was well."
My ending has emotion, thought-provoking words, gets you sad, bittersweet, you know... so I think JK Rowling messed it ... I kinda like Philip Pullman's ending to the Dark Material's Trilogy with Will & Lyra.
As for Teddy - Go Teddy - He's a favourite character of mine already - cos he's the only child of two of the best characters there are, starting with Remus Lupin...

I knew that it would be Ginny and Harry after book 2. It is the symbolism in the story. There is deep symbolism all through the series and if you miss it you will not get the deeper meaning of the series. In The Chamber of Secrets Ginny is Eve and Harry is Adam, so of course they will be together in the end. Don't believe me? Think about it... Ron says "it seems like a tomb down here.." Ginny is lead astray, there is a snake, and the only thing that saves them is the symbol of Christ in the form of Fawkes. There is deep symbolism from the first chapter of the first book. Read it again and look beyond the story.

I like the Potters and Weasleys are together now, forever. The red-headed bunch is so much fun and was Harry's "real" family from the beginning. Yikes, having written that, makes me wonder if marrying Ginny was a bit too close...
No, not too close. Childhood crush (on her side) that blossomed into true love. And they did try to put it aside. I'm glad in the end they decided it see if it was right, and after 19 years (and a few kiddos) sounds like it was.

I don't know. Part of me wanted him to marry her and part of me felt Ginny wasn't right for him.
Also, I didn't get it. I thought Teddy was supposed to be Harry's godfather? Wouldn't that mean Teddy was his kid?
Anyway, I liked the book. Some of it was sappy and so not like the regular HP books, but I would I liked this ending better than if Harry had died.

Yeah. I don't really like the pairing. But I think that Ginny, in a way, actually suits Harry. Because if you notice, Ginny is rather like Lily.
Both of them are red-heads (pretty), are from Gryffindor and therfore brave, fiery and stand up for what they think is right and are also quite fun.
So yeah. :D
