One of the commandments is “All animals are equal.” What happens in the novel to show that the pigs do not believe this?

Plz answer this question I was reading the book thought this question just poped in my head so what do you think?

I've run out of good books to read over the summer, and I'm looking for advice on what to read. I loathe contemporary novels, because they serve only as profitable entertainment with very little literary merit. I want to read some good classics, but don't give me a list of the most popular ones that everyone already knows (i.e. Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, etc.) Give me a list of good classics that are perhaps lesser known or simply your favorites. Thanks!

are authors I have really enjoyed lately. I am a new fan of literature and get so much more from a story if it stimulates me intellectually. Problem is I have to understand what is being written. I love these two guys- who should I try next???

hey guys, im in the middle of attmepting a novel (first one), wrote quite a bit already, but need a name for my main 'bad guy' - this guy is the personification of evil, a true bad apple. I have been floating around with old words for 'evil' or 'satan' - such as Ubils, also Diabolos is one I liked (old greek word) also Iblis which I belive is a islamic name for the devil.

Any suggestions - also, you never know I may end up getting published and youre suggestion will be a main character.!!!!!!

What do you look for in a good fictional book? Like quality, description, character development, etc.

I've read them all over the years including the recent installment. As i was reading the others i either forgot or overlooked the use of the name "merlin" a lot. They would say "merlins beard", "merlins pants", "in the name of merlin" so just who is/was Merlin?

I think that the reprieve was Hagrid. As for the two who weren't going to die originally, I don't really know. Tonks and Lupin perhaps?

Does anyone else wonder why Dumbledore didn't completely incapacitate Voldemort in some way at the end of OOTP? If he had this unbeatable Elder Wand, there's no reason for him to lose. Why didn't he cripple Voldemort to make things easier for Harry? Why didn't Dumbledore beat him before the first time Harry stopped him? It makes no sense. Mind you the wand was supposed to be unbeatable, and clearly wasn't if so many people lost it in a duel (Grindelwald to Dumbledore in the first place)

Yes you may write more words if need be....and please don't start with who dies and who gets Married. I've read the book and I Despise people that give away the book ending because not everyone has read it.....But here are my 5 words to The 7th and final book

The book takes place around 1997, as you can see from the death date on Harry's parents gravestone.
(They died in 1981, if i remember correctly)

Why do you think that Rowling didnt set the death date to 1991, so that the book took place in current time?
