I have often been told by others (some teachers, professors and people who have read things I have written) that I am fairly talented and creative. Although I enjoy doing it, I don't do it that much. I have a problem concentrating when it comes to writing, and find myself procrastinating when I set out to do it. I have a lot of ideas for stories, novels, non-fiction, etc., but I never seem to get them on the page or even stick to it once I do. Are there any methods of remedying this issue? What ways can I improve my ability? What classes would you recommend if any? I used to be filled with delusions of grandeur about setting out to write (fame and fortune), but now I really just want to be able to do it for the personal fulfillment first and foremost. I want to be able to look at a shelf in my house and see a collection of my own writing. What should I do?
