Try "ARe you there God,it's me,Margret" It may seem like a kiddish book, but it's great. I also am a fan of "TTYL". It's a more mature book and i don't know one guy who's read it...lol. This may sound weird, but when in the mood to read a girly book, i read a mystery. It's just a habit, even if the book isn't girly at all. It "satisfies" the "reading-craving" and it hooks you to it. Your always wondering whats gonna happen next! Oh, I almost forgot! The BEST girly book I've EVER read in my entire life is "White Chocolate". Great book, about a girl who's parents both dies in a car crash and she lived. She lives with her grandpa, and on the back of the book it says that somehow they get separated. I'm still reading to find out why! LOL! Good luk in finding a book!!!!!
P.S. Sometimes i just read a magazine like seventeen or Cosmogirl, there perfect for any age, and it's really fun to read!

I don't know if I'd call it a girly book, but King Fortis the Brave has two of my all-time favorite characters in Aimee and Gillian!

If you want a classic:
Anything by Jane Austen
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
The Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery
If you're looking for children's/young adult books:
Are You There God? It's Me Margaret. by Judy Blume
The Changeling Sea by Patricia McKillip (also good for adults)
The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge
If it's adult romance, then:
The Mermaid's Song by Marianne Willman-I just finished it and I loved it. I'm not usually into "romance" novels but this one was great.

Well, it depends on how old you are. I am 25 and I like to read Janet Evanovich books. She is an excellent author. If you ever have the chance to read something from her, go ahead and do it.

"The Wizards Ward" by Deborah Hale
It's well balanced, not too long and you fall in love with the characters; you want to read more.
"The Destined Queen" is part 2
