I'm into the mystery/thriller/suspense books and I heard Dean Koontz is really good. However, I'm not into the whole aliens thing. But other than that, what Dean Koontz book would you recommend to read that is interesting?

Odd Thomas is my favorite. Series of 3 books.
Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, and Brother Odd
Odd sees dead people and solves crimes.. but he is a great character.
You will be hooked!

I like all of his books, but for a first time Dean Koontz reader I would suggest Velocity, it is shorter than some of his other novels and n easy read. He is a great writer and very discriptive.

I loved "Odd Thomas" and "Forever Odd." I cant wait to see if there is a third ever coming out. "False Memory" by Koontz was great also.

I only read one of them and it was quite good.
and I am not the type of person sho enjoys horror or sci fi.
The main character was a guy who had daytime blindness and could only leave his house at night. I think he has a series with this character. Very interesting. I must read more of his books.

All his books are great, and I agree with those who mentioned the Odd Thomas books as being among the best, but my personal favorites are the Christopher Snow books: "Fear Nothing" and "Seize the Night."

Tick Tock, by far.....It's got some really good humor in it, smiling dogs, crazy waitress', aliens in dolls bodies.....all the goodies for a fast paced book. THis book takes place over a 24 hour period, so, lotsa action.

I've read all his books and I love them all...My favs are Midnight, Twilight Eyes, Intensity and Odd Thomas. Seize the Night and Fear Nothing are good ones too. Midnight was the first one I read and it scared the bejeezers outta me.

Watchers...totally!! Something more disturbing, try From the corner of his eye. I'm reading it right now, and from the first chapter I've constatly been going "WHAT???" this book is one crazy read.
