Throughout the last year, I've read some works in Existentialist literature such as Nausea by Sartre; The Stranger, and The Fall by Albert Camus. Can anyone give me some further suggestions on Existentialist literature? Any recent European authors?

Vater effect,(incorrectly spelled) Vater was a german author, wrote a book, and then commited suicide,....soon his book was published, those who read it it, too killed themselves, so they banned any more printing of that book. The years were perhaps those in the 1800"s or late 1700"s.
The title of that book was what drove me here today,... all I can hand you is words that sound like that title of the book. "Thesaurous of vater" uhm,.. something like that. But in modern times we have a word for when some one (blank) then commits suicide, perhaps by influence I don"t know, and we call it the "Vater" (misspelled) effect. Thank you for your help

I'm writing a paper for an English class on abortion, and one of my required sources must be a fictional novel. The book must have abortion as the primary or secondary plot. Can you think of any that come to mind?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Rosefern

Looking for good sci-fi books. I'm an adult, so I don't need young adult recommendations. I really like time travel and aliens. But open to whatever is really good sci-fi out there.

It's going to be a drama/angst fanfic, and you know how so many ideas for drama are overdone... I don't necessarily want ideas for my story, I'd like to come up with that on my own, but just ways that I can come up with or find new and unique ideas that hopefully haven't been done before.

I have wanted to write a screenplay on a book I believe to be noteworthy. I need information on how to get the rights to write the screenplay from the author. Also I need to know from a actual screenwriter how to get going. My mind is bogged down with all the different methods and the numerous classes available to me here in Southern California. HELP!

There is an old poem I remember from a high school textbook that I think is called Birthday, and it ends: they sentenced me to life/I guess I deserved it. If you could tell me the name of the author/title(if i have it wrong)/ and the poem, that would be awesome

This is going to sound a bit crazy.. but about 13/14 years ago I read a couple of sci-fi/action books involving the following: a protagonist who was a doctor of some description with a sidekick, fighting some coven of witches/bad guys, I remember scenes set around stonehenge, ping pong ball explosives and after they got wounded there some sort of spray they used to heal themselves. Fairly sure english author but not sure. Well there's a random one for you!. Good luck and thanks!
