The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes

Is a great true story of a man with mutiple personalities convicted of a crime and institutionalized and tracing back to how the personalities came to be and which committed the crimes and how. It will shock you.

I highly reccomend something like the Sammy Keyes books or the Charlie Bone series. A great fantasy author is Anne McCaffrey. She wrote many books including Dragonsong. A wonderful humorous writer is Meg Cabot. My favorite book by her would have to be Avalon High or All American Girl. Tamora Pierce (Trickster's Choice) is also amazing. James Patterson wrote Maximum Ride. These books are some that you just can't put down.

I just finished reading White Teeth by Zadie Smith. This story deals with friendship, love, war, three cultures and three families over three generations. I can't believe so young an author can write this well. Read the book. I'm sure you will agree it's quite a trip!

Any mystery lovers should have at least read one Agatha Christie novel. The Poirot mysteries would be a great start. Marple short stories is also a good start.
