Fever 1793 is written by Laurie Halse Anderson, you can probably find it on amazon if you want to buy it, otherwise try your local library.
As for free online books, try this website: http://freebies.about.com/od/onlinebooks/Online_Books.htm. It seems to have lots of links to online books. I have not checked any of the links out, so not sure if they really have ebooks for free or not, but it's worth a shot!

Is a great place for free online books, I read at work when I should be doing something else. You can also download audio books so you can burn them to CD's from this site.
