if you have...whats your favourite part/character? have you read any other books by Jack Keouac? i have Dharma Bums and Visions of Cody, but i have yet to read them!!

Hello I am looking for a few people willing to help out at my site http://fireflyfiction.proboards103.com

It is an online writing forum/workshop specific to flash fiction (short-short stories under 1000 words).

I need admins: creative people who can come up with writing prompts, contest ideas, a newsletter, and whatever else they can think up. You do not have to know a single thing about Flash Fiction, just enjoy reading writing stories.

So... anyone interested in lending a hand? Any opinions/suggestions about the site?

OKay me and my best friend are going to the the book store tomorrow [barnes and nobles]!!! And I want to find a really good YA[young adult] romance novel. I like YA romance novles similiar to TWILIGHT by stephenie meyer and like A CERTAIN SLANT OF LIGHT by laura whitecomb. I love really true loving books. And where NOT the whole book is love , like their has to be a good plot to.

I need to know if the narrator is the master (garden owner) or someone else that isn't in the story. I'm very sure it is the master, but my all-knowing english teacher says the narrator is just a voice.

I read this book like...way back in seventh grade i think, and i cant remember the name of it. It's about this girl, i think she is Russian, who ends up in a concentration camp in Siberia. eventually she is put into this house with a lot of other people who share one room, and some people from a local village came once and gave them food (watermelon i think) so they would survive. she eventually ends up meeting someone, there was something about a dance in the village or town, and she tried to buy a red dress but some other girl beat her to it at some point...
I have really vague memories about this book, but i remember loving it. if any of you know what this book is, please let me know! thanks!

No, I'm not speaking about a book on mafia;)
I'm italian.
I'm in search of some novel (or other fiction) about law related subject/themes (no handbook, essays or similar).

Grisham is ok, but he's too oriented to criminal proceeding.

This has not to be a modern book with modern terms.
Yes I want to become familiar with US and UK law and legal terminology, but for curiosity, not for a practical purpose: so some old classic of main stream literature also (ex. "Bleak House") will do.

I'm eager to learn about the 20th century, especially the events after WWI until the Gulf War. What's the best book I could read discussing events all over the world? Since I don't have much time to read, I'd like to have one book which summarizes everything (1000 pages or less). I've been recommended Eric Hobsbawm's "A Century of Extremes" but I've heard both good and bad things about it. Are there better books on the subject or should I stick with this one?

The Orginial Copy got away form me, through a long sequence of events. I was going to submit it but through reading it, I found a couple pages missing out of it.So, when I read it , it did not flow and was messed up. I am not a typist, so I had to pay 2 people for typing it {550.00 ] they botched it.I had to work 2 jobs, plus go to school plus do without to pay for the typing.Please don't suggest to sue I don't know where they are.Thanks

I just started reading Body of Evidence and it's really interesting and I am wondering if all her books are with the same main character, Kay Scarpetta. I know I am reading the second one Kay is in, my question is which one comes next and is there anywhere i can find a list of those books with Kay Scarpetta and the order in which the came out.
