Is it even possible for a 14 year old girl with no money to get published by a publishing agency?

The thing is, I have almost no money that I could spend...but I have almost completed a manuscript. I have no way to get money to save up, because my dad works at walmarts and there are four of us kids. And I can't get a job.

I have already self-published a poetry book and a short horror story through Lulu, but the money problem arises yet again when it comes to advertising.

Have you tried taking it to your English teacher & asking her for suggestions. I had several of my English teachers submit my work for publishing. Mostly in student books but a couple of times in things a little better. It could be a good way to get your work out & a free critique from someone who knows what they're doing. (if you don't like your English teacher you can always go to another one. In my experience teachers love to help you with this kind of stuff & hey you might even get some extra credit!)

The chances of a first novelist getting published by a main-stream publisher are about 1 in 2000, and non-fiction books require some sort of credibility, e.g., academic background in the subject.

But you have your age on your side. By all means try and get a literary agent / publisher interested in your work, but I would also continue publishing on the Internet and build your reputation for a couple of years.

You sound as though you deserve to be noticed at the very least, and I wish you good luck. Persevere, keep going.

The chances are slim but don't let that deter you from sending your manuscript to the publishers, and check out self publishing through Lulu on your search engine.

...yes. The point of a publisher is that THEY pay to print the book/whatever it is. (They also get a portion of the profits)

It is - if you find someone who can support her/you. If that literature is good, you may get a scholarship or just money from some organisations...
