one of my favorites is carolina autumn by carol lynch williams. it's about a girl named carolina who lives with her mom because her dad and sister died in a plane crash, she is just starting high school, and she falls for her next door neighbor, garrett, but her best friend liked garrett too... it was a really good book kind of romance-y but not too over the top, and it still had plot about something a little more real...it's a really good book, i've read it three or four times.

I'm absolutely in love with the A-list series. It's not nessesarily a love story, but it's an evergoing story with plenty of love, fights, and the character trying to figure out who she really is.
