CALLING ALL HARRY POTTER FANS: Do you think that any of the trio members will die? If so, who and how?

I hoping none of them die, but I think that maybe Ron wil sacrifice himself for Harry or Hermione? I'd love to hear you thoughts.

A few rebuttals:

1) JK Rowling has stated in no uncertain terms that HARRY IS NOT A HORCRUX!!!!
2) She also said that DUMBLEDORE IS DEAD FOR SURE!!!! Completly dead. Dunzo. Dead. Let's move on.
3) The above goes for Sirius.
4) JK Rowling said that HARRY AND HERMIONE WILL NEVER GET TOGETHER. It will be RON AND HERMIONE. If Half-Blook Prince didn't show you that, nothing will.
5) Just a reminder, Gabrielle Delacour is roughly 8 years old. Ron marrying her would make him a molester. So yeah.

It is about time that someone said it flat out! Of course Harry isn't a Horcrux! Voldemort was going to make a Horcrux with his death, not his body. And I'm so tired of these lame explanations from people insisting that Sirius and Dumbledore are still alive, ignoring all of the evidence and the author's statements. Hermione and Ron belong together, just like Harry and Ginny. In an interview J.K. Rowling made it clear that this has been her plan.
"ES: We thought it was clearer than ever that Harry and Ginny are an item and Ron and Hermione — although we think you made it painfully obvious in the first five books —
JKR: [points to herself and whispers] So do I!
JKR: I will say, that yes, I personally feel - well it's going to be clear once people have read book six. I mean, that’s it. It’s done, isn’t it? We know. Yes, we do now know that it's Ron and Hermione."

Okay, while I believe both Ron and Hermione would be willing to sacrifice themselves for Harry (or each other)without hesitation, I don't think that they will have to. I can imagine that they will be injured, but definitely not killed. They've got to live so that they can end up together, just like Harry and Ginny after he destroys Voldemort. I do think that one of the Weasleys will die though, sadly. It'll probably be George. Arthur, Ginny, and Ron have nearly been killed already, Bill was seriously injured, we don't like Percy, we don't know Charlie, so that leaves the Twins who we like as a pair. Fred and George didn't care about the Order when Arthur was injured, but if George was killed, Fred would dedicate himself to it instead of just being a prankster. He could be a real asset if he was focused, since he actually is quite talented. Mrs.Weasley did have that boggart showing her family dead and they are at higher risk than most as "blood-traitors". =(

I don't think that Draco will turn into a "good guy" or a friend of Harry's, but I do think that he'll help Harry. The way I could imagine that happening is if Voldemort kills Lucius (for failing to retrieve the prophesy and to punish Draco for refusing to kill Dumbledore). While Draco and Narcissa fear Voldemort, they'd be furious and would want revenge. What better way than to assist his enemy in destroying him? Dumbledore offered to have the Order hide and protect them, if they provided some valuable information, like what/where a Horcrux is, then they'd get even with Voldemort and be safe. Plus, the Sorting Hat has advised the Houses to work together to overcome difficult times and while Snape and Sirius couldn't do it, I think that Draco and Harry will be able to. Allies with a common enemy, both having suffered the loss of a parent to the same villian. I expect that Neville will remember something important from the time he was present while his parents were tortured by the Lestranges. Snape will be revealed to have been evil all along, though not loyal to either side. He has only helped Harry to be free of Voldemort, who he helped to avoid being killed.

As stated many times in various places Harry is not a horcrux and Dumbledore is dead. Snapes and ****** and has no life in the good side of things. Draco...doubtful that he will either make it out alive or become good. I don't think Ron or Hermione will die. I think Harry will live and I think someone important but not one of the main three will die. Maybe someone important, but someone who isn't mentioned as often. Possibly one of the twins or maybe but unlikely Nevile. I think that Voldemort will die and in the End Ron and Hermione will either say their getting married or something of the sort.

The reasons she puts this info out on the internet about who is dead what is and what isn't is to save people from being disappointed when they don't see. Yeah so your disappointed now big deal...at least now instead of wondering about things that aren't going to happen you can wonder about what might and what will...

I don't think that anyone in the trio will die. I mean these are the main characters, and when you look at it, the Harry Potter series are still children's books. And this might make you ask, well how could she kill of Dumbledore. Well, i am not convinced that he is dead. Early on in the books, it was told that the curse used to kill Dumbledore must be backed up with hate. I honestly feel that Snape is on the good side, and didn't want to hurt Dumbledore, so the curse didn't have a strong effect on Dumbledore.

I think Harry will kill Voldemort for killing his friends and Become such a powerful wizard because of it that he brings his friends back to life but the spell costs him HIS life and Harry dies so Ron and Hermione band together to muster up enough streangth to bring Harry back and they all wind up half dead and then Dumbledore's portrait tells Harry some important stuff and they all live happily ever after except for Percy who is a prick.

Harry will have to die, because there are all these hints that the last horcrux may be in him, and voldemort needs all them destroyed before he can die. Him n voldemort'll die at pretty much the same time.

unfortunately i think that it will either be one of the two main charichters, either ron or harry. i think it might be harry because jk will want to make it so that nobody else can continue on her storyline, kinda greedy, but i think that is what is going to happen...... if not, then i think it will be ron, just for shock value, because he is a beloved charichter, and also i dont think that jk has it in her to kill of hermione.

I think it's crappy that you included spoilers in your rebuttal. Not all of us follow interviews with the author--some of us would rather WAIT FOR THE BOOKS! So thanks, I hate you.

Before I read your spoilers, I came up with this:

Ron and Hermione will marry (neither will die) and Harry will kill Voldemort but never be heard from again. Whether he is dead or alive will remain unknown.

I think ron will die,malfoy will turn nice because snape will "show hiw the way' Dumbeldore is only temporarily "dead" spell will shock the masses and percy will come out of the closeth and date a boy.

I think that they should all live and Voldemort should die, I think that Harry should marry Hermione and Ron should marry Fleur Delacour's little sister. hehehe that would be soo cool
