Does anyone know of a good book, in English, dealing with the Sengoku Period of Japan or one on Nobunaga Oda that isn't terribly expensive? I need the book to at least cover 1500-1582/1583.

I fell in love and in awe with the movie and I think it would be wonderful to read the book. Is there any place where I can get the copy? I would rather not buy online (if that is an option), and no ebay please. Please and thank you!

I have been googling for an answer to this question and have found nothing reliable so far. There is one literary agency fairly close to where I live but they specify that they only take certain types of submissions; I may try them anyway but I'm not optimistic. And yes, there are many resources on the web but I don't want to send my manuscript out to just anyone-- I want to know that an agent has a success rate with getting stuff published and that it's not a rip-off before I contact them. Has anyone dealt with this problem, and if so-- how did you solve it? (thanks!)

Through out your three favorite books on screenwriting. And, what are some other articles or publications that you have really benefited from?

I read them all and loved them! I like the way the stories flowed. They were very active and you were really drawn in to the story! Can anyone suggest another book that has a very similar read to it? I want to start another book or series but I never was much of a reader (parents just never made it a priority) but have just realized I like to read! Please tell me of something you would recomend that is similar and why you think I would like it...... GOSH this sounds like a book report. Not really just need insight from more experienced readers! = )
Thanks a bunch!

It would also be helpful if you can give me the overall plot :P

But overall, I really just need the climax of the story. Where everything turns around and sets off the ending.

I hear the shadowy horses
their long manes a shake
their huffs heavy with tumult
their eyes glimmering white
the north unfolds about them
clinging creeping night
the south is pouring down roses of crimson fire
the east her hidden joy before the morning break
the west weeps in pale dew and sighs passing away
beloved let your eyes half close
and your heart beat over my heart
and your hair fall over my breast
drowning love's lonely our
and hiding their tossing manes
and their tumultuous feet.

it's not a dirty book so don't say it is. It's about sex before marriage mainly and if it's wrong or not. I'd like someone to tell me their opinion on the book, maybe we can start a book club.
