Whats the climax of This Present Darkness?

But overall, I really just need the climax of the story. Where everything turns around and sets off the ending.

It's been too many years since I've read the novel. I just remember that spiritual forces are at work in the town. You've got the pastor and his family and you've got the newspaper editor and his family. As the stories weave together, the pieces slowly start coming together that unite them and enable them to face the spiritual forces. I believe there is a cover up and a murder of some sort. Anyway, I remember it starts out with a carnival of some sort. And I remember it's set in a University town. I believe there is corruption at the University and at the police department. One of the bigger turning points is when the newspaper man becomes a Christian and he teams up with the pastor to start putting all the pieces of the puzzle together. Maybe possibly a prayer chain starting and the whole town coming together in strength.
