My Armageddon Has Begun

I am hurting deep
And no one will see.
The ripping and tearing has started,
My Armageddon has begun.
To shreds they reduce everything that was my life.
And now all I have is this empty void.
But they will not stop
Until they fill every atom that I am
With this unbearable uncertainty and pain.
Slowly the redness of my eyes will haunt even my innocent dreams.
My every waking moment will become the personification of pain.
The existence that I am to become
Will be punishment
No better than that dealt by the fair Devil.
The people will stare and gawk
And pity - contained - will make them feel better.
The children will show what the parents really feel,
They are happy now
But soon they will become me.

But today has begun,
Today my Armageddon has begun.

I have an ability. I can write a poem about anything and it doesn't take me long to write one. Every verse i write rhymes. I can write poetry on tap about anything or for anything. Is there such thing as a poetry competition in U.K and how do i go about it

Look at Franzen's the Corrections. He names two tree species on the first page. This is par for the course: the private eye can't drive past some woodland on the way to an interview without the narrator telling us what all the trees were. Why have the more 'literary' writers got this compulsion to spell out tree species? Surely the average American these days is a townie - or is it because he's a townie and the writer wants to connect him to his roots? I think all those summer camps must cast a long shadow.

I want one as a christmas present and so need to put it on my list now, before I go to uni, but unless I can tell my parents where to get it from, I won't be receiving it.
By ultimate book of monsters, I don't mean some childish book, I mean something with really graphic pictures, maps of where these creatures can be found and detailed dietery requirements.
I've tried Amazon but they just seem to do kids stuff or else just focus on specific creatures. I'm after a wide variety all crammed into one book.
If anyone can help, please do. Titles of books, publishers and authors are all welcome as well as places that might sell a book like this, preferably places in the UK.

I mean, hard core fans know that we have been with him threw thick and thin since Book 1. So will you be truly heart-broken if Harry dies in the end? I know I will feel absolutely betrayed. I don't think I would have it in my heart to forgive J.K. Rowling.

I want to know if reading VC Andrews books give you nightmares and does it make you want to throw away these books. I use to collect these books but I donated it to the library cause I had to do it. There are some books I like to read now adays without violence but are mystery books. Do you think mystery books are better than scary books? Vc Andrews books are only for Halloween which I already know though.
