Mother Abigail from "The Stand".
And my favorite villain has to be Pennywise in "It", the only time a book ever made me jump. Even Tim Curry's rendition in that stupid TV movie sent chills down my spine.

The dark man,the walking dude, Randell Flagg from the Stand is my favorite villain.

no favorite villain, his heroes usually have flaws enough that the villain role is sometimes too over the top in his writing.

Favorite: Rosie from "Rose Madder" She had the courage to leave her abusive husband and then he tracked her down. He was an evil cop.
villain: the guy from "needful things" that ran the shop with things people needed.
