One of the best I've ever read is "Blood Meridian" by Cormac McCarthy.

If you read it, it'll make hair grow on your chest.

I've had too many favorites over the year to try to choose just one. It depends on my mood at the moment.

Orson Scott Card is one of my favorite writers. I love practically everything he's written. My two favorites by him would include Ender's Game and a book called Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus.

Another favorite writer would be Stephenie Meyer. I absolutely LOVE her work. She's writing a great series. The first two books are Twilight and New Moon.

Classic books that I love would include
Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
