People say that all knowledgable people own some books. I read a lot but only borrow them from the library but do not own much. What are the advantages of owning books over borrowing?

I have noticed that often books/their endings are either mockingly depressing or unrealistically perfect. I think it's hard to balance the bitter and the sweet. So which do you prefer, a book that is too sweet and clone-like, or a book that is too aware of evil and negative? This should be interesting.

The Puritans contained a strict and tolerant philosophy. Their well-established philosophy strongly focused on God. Serving God existed as their first responsibility. They considered the Bible as the true law of God that provided guidelines for church government. They constantly kept God and the Devil in mind. Puritans viewed witchcraft as evidence of a person’s spiritual weakness. The Puritan philosophy existed as an enemy toward witchcraft. They condemned anyone who practiced witchcraft.
Furthermore, the Puritan had an extremely strict philosophy. For example, they were killed for celebrating Christmas or even dancing with the opposite sex. Men and women did not have equal rights. By the time, a child reached age 7; he or she held responsibilities for their actions. Even though they maintained strict laws, some of their positive laws benefited women. For example, men could not abuse or speak sharply to their wives. Some of their poems express their philosophies.
Anne Bradstreet (1612-1672) existed as the first American poet and writer to have their work published. Bradstreet was well educated for her time. This allowed her to express herself through poetry. Bradstreet strongly based her poems on religious themes and philosophies. She wrote personal poems about her thoughts of childbirth and the death of a grandchild.
Anne Bradstreet’s poems highly reflect the Puritan philosophy. In her poem, “Here Follow Some Verses on the Burning of Our House, July 10, 1666,” Anne shows her belief in God even though her house is on fire. Passages like “…to my God my heart did cry to strengthen me in my distress and not to leave me succorless” show the reader that even though she dealt with pain at that particular time in her life she still looked to God for help. Puritans prayed and read the Bible daily.

When i was very young (7 or so) i created a story that i still work on to this day. It has become a kind of never ending story.

I'll break it down as much as i can but please bare with me

This was first created in about 1980 and a lot of tv and movies inspired the story.

We have explored the solar system. we have people on every planet and most of the moons. But earth is running out of resources. Unsure what to do since most of the other planents cant replace earth, we start looking at ways to explore outside of our solar system.

However there is another dimension where a queen of evil wants our universe. Now it wasnt till recently thagt i built this next part but this is why. Millions and millions of years ago, humanity came from a planet called Zogaria. On it there was good and evil.

But there was a queen and king. The queen was influenced by evil and killed the king. Fearing revolt by the people and wanting power, she fled zogaria to this other dimension. However she
