I want to write a novel, but I do and send it in I'll be in high school by then. I'm scared of people teasing me, Should I write it?

If you want to write a novel, by all means, I am giving you permission to go for it. Go for it. If you're writing a novel that's going to turn some heads, then I can understand your weariness but if someone turns a head, that means someone struck a raw nerve and that's a good thing. You want people to turn heads. If you're scared of telling people you're a writer, that's fine too. It's okay. Most people don't really get what that means. If writing is going to make you happy, you have to go for it and damn whatever anyone else says. If you have a good book, people are going to turn your way instead of the other way around.

Of course! Do what you want! And people don't have to know until it's finished. Then get trusted friends to read it, or teachers. If it's good, send it to get published. I often just start a story because an idea sparks me, for fun. There is nothing embarrassing about what you enjoy. Good luck!

As long as you are worried about what others might think of your novel, you'd better keep it to yourself. What's published is there for all to read. If you cannot deal with that, don't publish anything.

h**l yeah! if anyone wants to write a novel then they should go for it. i write and i am working on 3 comic and a fiction story. i bet you will do great! go for it!!

Go for it! You can never fail if you don't try. Don't give up even if the first one is a flop, if it's a passion of yours, go with it. Don't worry about what other people say to you, be yourself!
