I loved the Da vinci code, and enjoyed Angles and Demons even more. Both ideas for the books were awesome and i like where he went with them. Though one person pointed out there were a series of book, that in fact is false. Deception point and digital fortress are two completely different book, and doesn't even feature the same main character. There is however suppose to be a follow up book to the Da Vinci code, The Solomon Key, but release date is still unknown. Most have been talking Autumn.. but i think it's December.

The book or the movie?
Doesn't matter which one you're talking about because they were both amazing.
I honestly loved the idea of the Da Vinci Code it was spectacular.
Dan Brown sure made an impact.
It's just so amazing and the thing is that it all makes sense.
When I think of it, I'm totally shocked by Da Vinci's brain and how clever he must have been. Of course we all knew he was a genius but we thought he was a genius mainly in arts. How did he know all this? And by the way I think signs are really cool specially the way they're mentioned in the Da Vinci Code. What did you think of it?

The movie sucked but the books were kick ***. Well you probably already know this but there are 4 booksin that series. Digital Deception, Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, and Deception Point. You should check them out they are really good. My favorite is Angels and Demons.

It's an OK thriller but nothing more than that.
I can understand someone wanting to read it once, but not anyone wanting to read it twice. You turn the pages to find out what happens, but once you know there's no point in re-reading for insight or characterisation - because there isn't any.
I thought the movie was lousy - the first charmless performance I've ever seen from Tom Hanks, only Sir Ian McKellan hamming it up was worth the price of admission.

The book was spectacular compared to the movie. Dan Brown keeps you wanting to read on you just can't put the book down and then you are finished. So good I also read his other three books. They are really good as well. Angels and Demons, Digital Fortress, and Deception Point

I thought it was embarrassingly bad. I felt insulted. Really, what rubbish, and the plot was lifted entirely from the Baigent and Leigh book, Holy Blood Holy Grail.
What an atrocious hype about such a sub-standard book. You find me someone highly intelligent, educated and interesting who thinks it's worth reading.

I thought it was an exciting book, if hard to follow sometimes. Not as good as Dan Brown's earlier book, Angels and Demons.
As a Catholic, it made me stop and think about beliefs that I'd been raised with. Not to say that it changed my mind about the issues but it made me aware of possibilities. Anything is possible!!!

I didn't see what the big deal was, I mean it was a fictional book. I don't understand why people got so upset about it.

The book: interesting, but not original, premise; mediocre, but page-turning, writing; not really worth the hype, but a decent beach read.
The movie: didn't see, didn't hear too much good about it.
