'm writing a historical romance and being that I need to set my story in a region with wild and dramtic hills, rocky hills, I am planning to set the story in Shropshire....but then they characters have to travell ALL the way to London for the season.....about 336 miles or so. 6hours by CAR....wouldn't it take way too long by carriage?? Is it normal for a DUKE to retire to a country manor all the way in Shropshire?? If not, can you suggest a better location where there are many hills, rivers, etc.,

I have been stuck in a rut reading every book Steven King, Dean Koontz, and James Patterson have ever written. I need to find an author that can be catagorized as the same style writer as these authors. Can anyone suggest a good book or author that will keep me as interested as these men do?

I never finish anything I start to write because I always find something else to write about. I kinda want to get published, but the longest story I've finished is a 12 page sidestory to a longer series I've planned.

I just finished the "Robber Bride" and I have also read "Alias Grace." I liked them both quite a bit and was curious what other books by her people like.

Did anyone else think that the story itself had a somewhat Emo quality to it? Because I did, it totally reminded me of a Panic! At the Diso or the Used or My Chemical Romance song.

Age regressions are easy to find as are other transformation fics, but I'm trying to find some good Age Progression (AP) fics (original fiction or fanfiction). They don't have be be "adult" fics (though if it's still a good story, I'm not opposed to that).

Mostly I'm looking for internet fics, but books and movies work too.
My friend is looking up regression to see who can find more, and she's waaaaay beating me *sighs*

Any ideas where to find AP stuff?

Thanks.

I collect various translations of this book. My friend was teasing me about finding it in Klingon, since she said they were translating the Bible into Klingon, why not Harry Potter?

Kind of made me think that someone out there may have actually DONE this. Anyone know if it? (or any other weird/ interesting translations of this book?)

But we have the mind of Christ.Colossians 3 vrs 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.2 Corinthians 5vrs 7-10 7We live by faith, not by sight. please Accept God don't wait until the last minute God Loves you he Loves you God is love email me respond to me write back he wants you to be saved God bless anyone who reads this

Even non-readers call him their favorite author. Is it because there is so much sex in the books that doesn't make it into the movie?

I have written 2 picture books and my adult daughter has illustrated them for me. Does it help if I already give a teacher development workshop on using picture books in middle school classrooms? Where can I find a literary agent who will look at my work? Will it be helpful to have a mag article published first? I also have a short story that could be published in nearly any women or family magazines. How do I go about getting the story published, if that is what's necessary for my picture books to be looked at?
