It is truly brilliant.

In saying that the last book had a couple of superfluous characters which didn't enhance the story in anyway, but this is forgiveable.

The ending took me about a week to get over, but after the trauma - it is also forgiveable (and understandable).

Read it - you certainly won't forget it or regret it.

It's part of a much larger fictional universe created by S.K.
I tried reading the first book many years ago and it just didn't catch me.
For my money, his best books are
1) The Stand
2) Salems Lot
3)The Talisman (You're the herd now Jack ! )
and
4) IT !

It started off okay, got much better, but the ending wasn't all that great. I was kind of disappointed when I finished the seventh book...

ita a long story,,,7 books but worth the read till the last chapter...im a big fan and was sorely dissapointed in how fast the ending came and what happened,,,, but read it for yourself and judge it

Read it. You won't regret it.
