have you read other books by this author because of this? Mine is "Searching for God Knows What" by Donald Miller and it caused me to read every book he ever wrote

I loved the classic romance books where the man was dominant. Nowadays I can't find books to read because all the heroes are weinies who don't know what to do with the women in the books, (who incidentally, all have black belts in karate). There is no difference in the hero and the heroine and therefore no sparks. What happened to the days when the hero would put the heroine over his knee for her own good?

What do you think the meaning of Robert Frost's poem Stopping by a Woods on a Snowy Evening? Or what do you get from this poem?
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

When the Cheshire Cat disappears (Through the Looking Glass, Alice in Wonderland, etc), what do you suppose is happening and why? Do you have literary citation evidence? Does he just become invisible or teleport or is he going off into another dimension? What's going on?

John Grisham is currently my favorite author and I'll basically read anything he writes. "The Broker" was released about 2 years ago I think and I was just wondering if anyone had any news on a new book from him? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I remember reading a book quite a while ago, but can't remember specifics like the name or character's names. I'm interested in reading it again, but can't recall many details. All i can remember is that there was a brother and a sister and they lived in a time/place where their city was divided up in ranks, i think possibly by colors. But for some reason they escaped and had to go thru muddy or unsafe waters and met people there who helped them, i think they harvested potatoes in mud. Eventually they moved forward and there was a princess involved and lots more. I know this isnt a very good description, but its all i remember. Do you have any idea of what this series could be?

I like fantasy mostly its hard for me to read nonfiction. I need something that will get my imagination running. Harry Potter, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, and The Chronicals of Narnia are some books I would recommend.
