colleen mccullough is an australian author who has written some amazing books that takes place in australia, such as "the touch," "thornbirds," and "morgan's run." they are extremely well written and i recommend them highly.

the thorn birds by colleen mccullough.....everybody should read this book at least once. very excellent interpretation of the human condition.
