Has anyone actually DONE John Casablancas? And if you have, can you tell me if it was worth it, or was it a waste of money? Plus, can you tell me how many jobs you actually booked? But please dont say anything if you'e never done it. I understand your opinions, but i want real answers. So please only the people who've done it answer this. :D

My celebrity Gran
we all were here fans

She shone like mothers pearl
on a beach somewhere
in the evening
sun

She was into advertising hold up stockings
Her legs were the cast
A bit too wide the stage for such a small part

I was at an audition at the weekend and got really upset because I screwed up both the dance routine and song. I knew everything but as soon as I got into the audition room I totally blanked. I missed some steps in the dance and even though I started strongly in the singing I missed the middle line. I just carried on but broke down after the song. There were other people who I know performed worse than me at the audition but I'm sure I'll miss out because I blanked. How to I overcome this and do you think I still have a chance?

Given the Spanish Inquisition,Salem Witch Trials and too many other historical examples of the hatred, torture, and execution of people differant from themselves,I am of a mind christians are more confrontationalists than pacifists, even though Christ himself advocated love, peace, and self-restraint.What do you think?

*****

Everybody’s laughing at me,
My paper kite in the air,
Everybody’s pointing at me,
I hate the way that they stare,

Everybody says I’m crazy,
Me, with maniacal mind,
Everybody sees me hazy,
Ann me, without spectacles, blind,

Everybody’s gone inside now,
Looking for places to hide,
Everybody’s going to say “wow!”,
I just hope I do not get fried,

Everybody knows of my fame,
Lightning bolt called from a cloud,
Everybody now’s heard my name aloud,
With a tip of the hat and a bow.

I said that America IS an empire but only in some ways. heres the first paragraph for my essay:
“Empire is not quite right but it seems to be closer to anything else we have in common usage, so we employ it.” (Michael Mandelbaum). Mandelbaum does not consider USA an empire, and either does our president. USA has many traits, such as poverty, spread of ideas, and international trade, some of the few traits Rome used to have. Our poor struggle from poverty, just like Rome’s poor did too and we have spread ideas around the world like Rome spread their ideas around Europe. USA is very well considered an empire, but how?

I've been working as a freelance for a while now and my work speaks for itself but i'd like to study for a qualification preferably online or by distance learning as i can't afford to give up my full time job.

It’s become a habit now
To speak my thoughts in verse
This state of mind must occur
As cure for some small curse
For, when I speak in metaphor,
Although the words are true
Not one of those who reads the work
Shall think the meaning through

*****

Pond’s full of frogs, croak, ribbitt
Waterbug tongue snappers…hiccup
Lilly pad lounges beneath weeping willow
Rainwater drips to mud puddling

Cozy oasis, this place is
Cat tail fence, slippery entrances
When vanguard goslings alarm
All in the pond, to the bottom
