Has anyone actually DONE John Casablancas? And if you have, can you tell me if it was worth it, or was it a waste of money? Plus, can you tell me how many jobs you actually booked? But please dont say anything if you'e never done it. I understand your opinions, but i want real answers. So please only the people who've done it answer this. :D

You don't have to have actually done it to know it's a waste, a scam, and that people do not book jobs with a company that is not an agency... it's a glorified charm school that costs a lot of money to tell you how to apply make up and how they think you should walk.

Do you really only want to hear from people who have been duped by them? Why don't you post a question with what it is you'd like to do so we can help you get the real info. Modeling? Acting? How old are you and what state are you in? If you can spend the kind of money JC wants you might as well put it to good use and get real training out of it.

1. Agency 2.Any agency that is SAG & AFTRA certified is fine. 3. No, John Casablancas is a huge scam. 4.CESD, is a wonderful agency, but is very exclusive. Many actors, even after dozens of movies still cant get in. 5. Also, try to act locallly; like in car delership commercials or something. Hope I Helped. -Laila

My best friend went to John Casablancas about 15 years ago and she is gorgeous. Her mom spent a LOT of money and she never got any jobs. I think it is a scam.

A girl in my high school who wanted to pursuse modelling went to JC our sophomore year. They did nothing for her and the following year she signed with a real agency and started getting real work.

They will not book you jobs, they are not an agency. If you want to learn how to walk with a book on your head and appy eye shadow, by all means, pay the thousands of dollars. If you actually want to BE a model, find a real agency.

**Here's a hint to finding real agencies - they don't post ads in the back of Seventeen magazine...

It's very expensive, but I mean depending on what you're doing you should have fun. You learn about make-up,clothing types, and gain confidence. You even get fashion homework. I found it very fun, but my friend didn't so I guess it really depends on the type of person you are.
