Ah lovely... the classic question. I'll be succint and not drown you in words. In my eyes, (the ones that matter) It is to be happy. Don't live for anyone else or anyone else's expectations, do what makes you happy, whatever it may be as long as it does not directly harm others. Why live if you aren't happy? Even some miserable people enjoy that, so somewhere they're happy.

That can mean many different things to different people.
Being over a half a century old I have came up with my own.

“It is what we make it.”
Too simple? Ah not so!
We are a mammal that has a relatively shot life span.
We can use or waste that life time on countless things. Example most Americans waste more than a 4th of their life playing video games or watching TV.
Now picture an alien from space doing a college paper on humans and what will he say about that?
“Humans stare at an object for entertainment and waste most of their life doing so.”
Sounds like we are as bright as a walnut then huh?

We decide the meaning of life by how we think and act. If we want to have power over people, we tend to seek a pastime doing so. Such as a Politician, police officer, doctor, dictator, religious fanatic, etc.
If we wish to serve we could be those same things but look at it differently. We then could misconstrue our true motives and intentions, and have even another mindset.

The meaning of life to me is using our life to benefit ourselves, mankind and nature. Then I die but at least my life was good and had meaning to me.

The problem I see with mankind is the “me” all too often overrides what others may need or want. We are selfish greedy animals that like to think that we are godly angels or better than others.
This is why we keep having wars and all the atrocities around the globe. And we think we are so smart!......But we still become obsessed with foolish things like a stupid monkey. The few that don’t do this so much are generally worldly known for their achievements.

So with all this in mind, the only one that can answer your question is you.

Life doesn't have a meaning. It is like asking what is the meaning of a chicken. Asking if life has a meaning would imply that you believe in god or a creator. The only way to really find out the meaning of life would be to ask god and you can't actually do that. Give up on this question and just live your life.

The Meaning of Life. A lot of people answer as it is the opposite of death. But is there a death? No. Death is simply the lack of life.
So...the meaning of life....here it is through my perspective.
Have you ever seen someone standing against a wall with their head down and arms crossed? (Or something similar to that). Have you? And if you have..., have you ever gone up to that person and said hello? And if you have done that...have you ever asked the person ''Hey, what's the matter?" Have you?
90% people would answer No to all these questions..., but you know what, deep down, all 100% people will also know that this is what they should have done.
Have you ever, even for the littlest thing, put a smile on a crying face? If you have....then you know....to understand my answer...would be quite simple.
Have you ever just sat atop a tree watching the sun dive behind the horizon and letting all your days’ worries just was away with it? Have you?
Have you ever just looked from a mountain and yelled something just to hear it echo back to you?
Have you ever just put on running shoes and take a run outside just 'cause?
Have you ever removed your shoes, spread your arms, and dance in the rain? Have you?
Have you ever screamed at the top of your lungs in a residential area?
Have you ever observed a tiny creature and felt that it could understand you?
Have you ever really just sat down on white puffy snow and tried to eat the snowflakes that fall from the sky?
Have you ever just sung a song for no reason, just to cheer someone up?
Have you?
Have you?
Have you?
Because if you haven't, then I greatly feel sorry for you, because doing all this....just living like it was your last day on earth and putting smiles on other faces...is the true meaning of life.
Go on. Do at least on of the things I've mentioned on this answer of mine. Trust me, you'll realized why I've said that it is the true meaning of life.

well, i could write a book about this question, but i will try to some this up. I am a christian and proud to be. Jesus is a part of my life and through prayer, preech and books(Bible) i have learned so much stuff about how we live our life and why we live our life. It seriously depends on who we are. We were all made in a unique way so we all have a different purpose. There is one thing that everyone of us is to do in life though and that is to share our god given gifts with other people in the world. you may not know what yours is yet but there is many people and resources that can help you figure this out. I would be more than willing to help you out more. You can email me if you would like!!!!!!!

In the beginning God gave us a very big pencil. With this we wrote the history of man and all the great things wot we did.
Only problem is , God kept the big eraser and every so often he eraser's the bits that would help us understand your question. Such as the great flood, he erased the bit were it said "It rained all night" or. the parting of the sea, again he erased the bit were it said"and they built a bridge". And so on & so on until we reach were we are to day.

I wonder! did he say "Burning Bush" or "Burn Bush" anyway, life is meant to be confused so that people like you will bcome peranoid
