Vietnam and Korea has many historic points in common. Why the thing that has happened in South Korea, the assistance that come from U.S and democratic world did work in Korea but not in Vietnam, making the entire country under the control of communism with super low development in almost every aspects of the Vietnamese society nowadays? Why U.S leaves the South Vietnam alone seeing them badly give up to communism? Why U.S turn their back to SOuth Vietnam citizens, making them flee to the Pacific in seek of freedom after the fall of Saigon in 1975, risking their lives to be 'boat people' ???
Although the Vietnamese people are hard-working and do excellent at school and have 4000 years since national foundation, we still struggle with poverty and undevelopment? Where is the exit for us? Why it couldn't happen as good as it was with South Korea?

Melting Ice beneath my feet... I'm slipping
Silence desends, I reach out without gripping
I fall, we fall into a world of ignorance without cause
We protest to leaders with deaf ears and closed doors
Where do we go from here if we can no longer run?
The pressure builds and they say it's just begun
It's getting warmer, can you feel it or is it just me?
Put forth your words but it's action we want to see
How much longer can we wait to figure out?
The world is dying while we linger on the doubt
The heat rises and fires burn brighter than before
How much more destruction can we risk to ignore?

~
Tell me what you think?
Ok obviously it's about global warming, a very serious issue that affects the whole world. My family is taking it seriously and so should everyone else. GO GREEN PEOPLE!
Thank you!

You leave work on a Friday afternoon after a stressful, tiring day at the office. It's a chilly, wet, windy winter's day, but the sun smiles down on you through a gap in the dull, overcast sky, warming you with its warm rays, and a bird sitting on the branch of a nearby tree offers you a song as if to herald in the two days of rest and recuperation which stand before. The frown leaves your face, the weight drops from your shoulders and a feeling of elation covers you like a warm blanket.

How can I hold on to moments like these and other momentous moments? If you can only offer sarcasm, keep it; if you can offer insightfulness, please do share it. Thank you.

Yes I'm a christian and I believe in heaven and I worship GOD and JESUS but. BE HONEST is not our darkest fear and havent you atleast once thought about it? Dont make this a religous debate just be honest. It is a normal inquiry. and the reason we dont want to die is because how will people visit us when were in the groung? its weird to me to even look at someone dead and then imagine what I will look like dead and if I will be aware in any way? I want a lap top and my cell burried with me just in case. Whats your input?

I live in middle of nowhere, far from any auditions. My parents cannot afford to fly me anywhere, or have the time worry with things like that. Is there anything at all I can do to actually get a shot to audition?

I'm not really that good, mostly all I can do is play all minor and major chords in every position. I'd like to get better at soloing and writing riffs. My question is how long does it typically (I know it depends on how much you practice) take to get learn and get good at playing the different types of scales up and down the fretboard. Also, can you get away with now learning modes and still be a good soloist.

I am 25 years old and have been taking lessons at a local Arthur Murray Studio for over a year now. I have a background in both music and tae kwon do, but I feel this is where my true talent lies. many people have told me that I am a really quick-learner, great leader, good dancer and have even been asked to participate in a salsa routine. I feel great about my dancing now after one year of training and I feel that I have been forged for this "sport/art" through my music and tae kwon do training and have thus been considering professional ballroom competition.

My questions are what is professional dancing, what are the requirements to become a professional vs. amateur, what are the major competitions, what are the dance styles in competition... etc... where should I start???

Whatever information anyone has about the world of professional dancing, be it from personal experience or literature, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks!

Snowflakes drop all throughout the wintery night.
Decorated trees in the village shine like bright stars.
Tingle, tingle, tingle the bells shimmer smoothly in the distance.
Children sleep quietly through the mist air of quietness.
Enjoyably dreaming about the tremedous gifts;
On a glourious holiday full of spirit.
Nothing more excitng but a reunion with jolly old St. Nick.

He was quoted for being a superficial person. He whenever asked what his work was about, responded with " I don't know". He pretty much left the judgment for his work up to the audience rather than to explain what it was about. So what do you think it's about? Is he in some way, against all his statements, actually protesting consumerism, with the soup cans and Brillo boxes, or, are they just as superficial as he said?
