It is ABSOLUTELY true that the children born to mix origin parents have special born talents and good features. As dochildren born to non-mixed orgin parents.
As far the probability of what the baby would look at, please define what a Chineese person looks like (Or a Sri Lankan). Then their MIGHT be an answer. But I've never seen two Chineese people or Sri Lankans or two people from any other area that look the same. So what part makes them look whatever they are supposed to be??? Kind of arbitrary isn't it!

We are talking about humans, not dog or horse breeds? First of all, dominant traits don't skip generations whereas recessive traits do. Recessive traits involving physical features include dimples, wet or dry ear wax, and widows peaks--none of which are determined by ethnicity.
Recessive disorders, including Cystic Fibrosis, Tay-Sachs, and Sickle-Cell Anemia, however, do occur when both parents are carriers. The chances of getting each of these diseases is statistically heightened by being a member of a particular ethnic or racial group; for example, Northern Europeans are more likely to inherit Cystic Fibrosis, Jews Tay-Sachs, and people of African descent Sickle-Cell Anemia.
Undoubtedly, geneticists would advise against marrying a first cousin (or even a second cousin for that matter), but otherwise they would probably tell parents not to worry about how a child will look. More to the point, a child with a duel heritage has a better chance at learning two distinct cultures and languages. How a child turns out is also determined by nurture--not nature.

I've seen it claimed that people of mixed race background are more likely to be attractive because they usually lack any of the physical extremes of any one race. When we inbreed, we accentuate common features. Mixing the races "waters down" those extremes and produces a face that is more aesthetically pleasing.
I'm not sure how true this is, but it certainly seems to be borne out in my partner, who is of mixed African and British origin and is stunning.
Though mixed parentage is rare in some countries, in the UK it is commonplace.

Pure-bred dogs tend to have problems because they are in-bred too much. "Mutts", the term for mixed-breed dogs, tend to be healthier, stronger, smarter and more free of genetic defects than pure-breds. Half Black Labradors, in particular, are strong, gentle, intelligent, playful, loyal, athletic and eager to please. I've owned several. Since male back labs can sniff lady dogs who are "in the mood" up to a mile away and jump fences that are up to six feet high (or dig under them), there is usually a ready supply of half black labs.
People don't inbreed as much, so children of mixed races are usually not stronger, smarter, more talented or more free of genetic defects than children of same-race parents. (Children of extraordinary parents are another story. I expect Tiger Wood's children will have tremendous hand-eye coordination.)
Mixed-race children are rare, which makes them exotic. Blonds do not excite attention in Norway, but they do in Spain. Mixed-race children would excite attention in many places, simply because they are so few of them in most places.
Most of the mixed-race children I've known look about half and half.

uh....50/50. Some features are just more dominant than others. You never know. As far as talents, that seems very stereotypical. A kid will be. I believe that it is more nurture than nature.
