There is always something missing... and someone had told me that there is always one thing that changes your life somehow!

What was that for you? And when did it happen?

Out of curiosity because I'd have to say Harry Potter or Eragon or Ella Enchanted or something like that.

I want to print my own cards using my own photographs.
I already an entry level one that is out dated but it works. It the adobe photo starter 1.0 BUT it prints on the paper so you have to fold it....Either i take the time to somehow glue it all together with maybe contact cement or possible find a program that doesnt print it so the page is folded for the effect of the card.
ANy suggestion considered.

My son went to see the Schoolhouse Rock musical at a local theatre as part of a school field trip. He talked about a song where a bunch of hippies came out onstage and acted silly. I have a vague remembrence of a Schoolhouse Rock cartoon from my childhood with a group of hippies in it. I can't find it on google or youtube, and I can't think of it. It's really bugging me and I just have to know!

And I mean all those people here in the Philosophy section. Those who turn up to answer this questions are my friends and are on the same wavelength with me. But those who don't respond and cannot answer this question are afraid. And I remember their names who normally responded to questions on the philosophy of life
as I did with them before.

NO MUDSLINGING PLEASE!

I think this is part of reflective thinking at its best. I find this to be the most difficult question to tackle. For instance, I could understand when I am honest to some person in certain circumstances, but when I try to see if I honest myself, I am left with a need for reassurance. How would you answer this question? And how could you ensure that you are not deceiving yourself?

I am 5'1" only, my dance partner is 6'1", so even if I wear heels, I am still much shorter than him. We are thinking of taking argentine tango lesson together. Would it look really weird when we dance together? Sould I find someone who is closer to my height?

and i was wondering if you have any ideas. i am doing a research paper, and this is one of the topics i was given. the description says, "...investigating the ethical implications of killing and eating animals for food."

some things to think about:
is it possible to kill and eat animals in ethical fashion?
consider: manner in which animals are killed and how they have evolved over time
philosophy of ethics
economic concerns (cheap meat for those who cant afford other food)
evolution
depictions of carnivorism

im not asking for you to do my research paper, but it would help me a lot if you can point me in the right direction by giving me some articles or books that you know of that deals with this. thanks.

"Young virgin auto-sodomized by her own chastity"
It sounds to be a reference to masturbation. The painting looks to have a bunch of phallus' flying around as well. What was Mr. Dali's inspiration for making this piece, and what did he have it represent?

I'm moving to Los Angeles to start a career in film. I know most actors have agents and managers and stuff like that. But I want to know how do I start out even finding these types of representation?

Rights managed liceses are ridiculously expensive, when you sell a rights managed licensed image to someone, are you saying that NO ONE else can purchase this image from you (as the licensor) during the term of the RM license?

Royalty free licences are WAY cheaper, is this because you can sell them to more than one purchaser at a time?

Or am I way off? There is no resource that full explains this!
