Just any names? Return Johnathan is a rare name I always liked, but I have forgotten his last name.
Washington, Greene, Lee, Stirling, Arnold, Sullivan, Mercer, Maxwell, Livingston, Clinton, Morris, Franklin, Adams, Hart, Clark, Witherspoon, Spencer, Heard, Captain Outwater, Zabriskie, Pulaski, Von Stueben...for the Americans.
The brothers Howe, Cornwallis, Clinton, Burgoyne, Cornet Geary, Peebles, are British. Von Kynphausen was Hessian, Van Cortlandt was a Loyalist. All found on line.

If you want little known names go to the DAR website. DAR are the Daughters of the American Revolution. Their directory will tell u the names of those soldiers who fought and died for our country, and those people who risked everything to help supply those troops.
I am related to 2 Rev. War soldiers and 1 person who supplied meat to the Mintue Men, or militia, he is considered a Patriot.
the more famous names can be found online on any History site or in a history book.
