So, Pavoratti split his estate, giving half to his three adult daughters from his first marriage, the other half to his second wife. Does anyone know what his first wife got in the divorce settlement?

Many philosophies advocate for a route or path to happiness. This is often our shoulds in life. Our shoulds don't necessarily match with our wants/desires.

If we do what we should, we are likely doing something that we don't want to do?

What is your argument for/or against doing things that you don't want to do?

Whether it was an object, a person or a life style? And deep down inside you realized that it was an impossiblity? How did you cope?

I'm not trying to sound depressed, or "emo," but just pondersome.

Do you ever question the point of living, and what the ultimate goal of life is? What is the point of life? To go to pre-school, to prepare you for grade school, go to grade school to prepare for high school, go to high school to prepare for college, go to college to prepare for a job, then go to work to prepare to take care of your family in case of your untimely demise? I don't get it. Where does enjoying and bettering yourself and the world fit in? I don't get it. Maybe I'm just too hedonistic to live the normal life, but I don't want to do all this preparing just so my family has money for my funeral when I'm dead. It doesn't make sense. We are basically working ourselves into death, preparing for the great darkness that awaits us all.

Your thoughts?

I don't remember much about this book. It was pretty short, maybe like 200 pages. The cover had the two boys (I think maybe brothers) running from the Carnival where they worked. I don't really remember why they worked there or how they fell into it. The were like 12 and 14, it was set in like the 30s or 40s I think. Any help would be great. It's not a profound book I just remember it was weird so if anyone knows the title I would be very happy. Thanks.

It's funny, when i'm dreaming i can feel the wind, temperature, and i get hyper-sense of reality. And sometimes they are so real that i wake up and think that it really happened and then later in the day i figured out that it was only a dream.

What if we have been asking the wrong questions that lead us to nowhere, far from proving or disproving anything beyond doubt.
