Dear Doctor Watson,
I liked your interesting and provocative answer. More than asking question, I shared a thought and wanted more inputs and understand others viewpoints. I did not want someone to judge why I asked this question. I did not take so much time to ask this question. It just flashed my mind and asked. For your kind information 7 out 7 found it interesting.
I was wondering why it brought a wrong notion in you about me. However it is my duty to answer you and clarify:
Whether it is me or you, we both have some pre-conceived beliefs. I could believe god, you could believe science and contradict him or me. Common life is all about belief. You believe it science, as you don’t experiment and agree…. In the name of science you believe in scientists. When you H2O for water, you don’t experiment and see and witness H & O. You believe it. If you mother says, this is your father, you believe it.
Ok let me explain you why I put this question in Philosophy.

Phil : Love / Life
Osophy : Wisdom
Philosophy: Wisdom of Life / Words of Wisdom by Almighty viewed by philosophers. They are called philosophies. In general we call them as Philosophy.
There are two types of Philosophies in the world:
Oriental Philosophy - Eastern
Occidental Philosophy - Western
In both forms it deals with subjects related to God only. Hence my question is well suited in the Philosophy section.

I don’t need a proof to say God is infinity. I see many things in life are infinity (not only number system). You look at the sky you would agree with me. I know for sure some almighty has created this. If that is the almight…. Then how can we are defining them in to different religions, different names and fighting on his name and doing separation among ourselves. Whenever I think of his creation, I get lost…. So I understand that I have limited knowledge and intelligence to understand him. However I am in pursuit of knowing him more.
Who told you atoms are infinite. This shows you are believed someone who told or someone you wrote in a book which you read. Even you can’t provide guarantee that atom is infinite.
Longer lifespan equate to greater intelligence: I did not say it.
Your question: If you take the time to think about it this is a pretty silly question.
If this question was silly, why did you take so much time in answering?

But the biggest problem with your assumption is that you stereotype the whole human race into the word 'we.'
Whether it is Einstein or Newton or any great scientist kept repeating their questions … finally they did get answer. When millions can gladly accept the politics and other stupid things in life, there is nothing wrong in people gladly accepting god. Initially we read, understand and get some knowledge. This knowledge gives us the wisdom to ask questions. Unfortunately many don’t actually go by scriptures nor they know the scriptures.
Your Line: So you can't objectively lump everyone into such a narrow and biased question.
I don’t think it was a narrow or a even a biased question as I never mentioned anything about any religion.

However, instead of making comments on others, their questions, their viewpoints and criticizing their thoughts, why don’t you come out with useful answers?
If not, no one compelled you to answer. However thanks for provoking me to answer you.

Yes he is infinite.
We all are not limiting the God in bound, but by Research or by Meditation or by Praying we all are trying to be infinite we all also are infinite but we do not know about us very well.
All the activities we are doing in favour to know more about the God. Whether day to day activity / working atmosphare activities / reserch activities / distructive activites / space activities all are the part of it only.
We all are also not limited but we should not compare it with God because still we do not know him.

First off, you aren't really asking questions here. What you are doing is making personal belief statements and falsely putting question marks behind them. You have already made up your mind and are using this 'Philosophy' section of Yahoo to preach your pre-conceived beliefs.
But, should you suddenly develop an honest mind, here is my impute:
You are assuming, without offering proof, that God is infinity. Even with this being so something that is infinite in no way guarantees that this infinite person or object is all-knowing. Atoms are infinite. Are they all-knowing? And how does a longer lifespan equate to greater intelligence? A stupid man can live to be a hundred years old while a brilliant man can die by the time he is forty.
And your first 'so-called' question asks us why 'we' limit Him with 'our' limited knowledge? If you take the time to think about it this is a pretty silly question. If God is all-knowing and all-powerful then 'we' couldn't possibly limit Him no matter how hard we tried.
But the biggest problem with your assumption is that you stereotype the whole human race into the word 'we.' There are many millions of people who gladly accept God, doing so according to the many various scriptures, without ever even thinking about or questioning Him. So you can't objectively lump everyone into such a narrow and biased question.
I have never limited my belief in God. It is you who is actually doing so now. Stereotyping is something I'm pretty sure God DOES NOT want His children doing.
Edit: I will repeat what others who have brought up after me have also stated: Your first question asks us why 'we' limit Him with 'our' limited knowledge? As God is all-knowing and all-powerful then 'we' couldn't possibly limit Him no matter how hard we tried. We can limit ourselves but not our God.
You've asked an unanswerable question because we can not do what you claim we do. And a great many believers don't feel the need to try to define or 'limit' what God is.
So you should have asked a question like "Why do so many try to limit Him (when you refer to God it is capitalized in His honor) with their own limited knowledge" instead.
I stand by my original reply to you.

Not really sure that I put a limit on anything. except stuff that bothers me. However, I think that most Christian faiths put an extreme limit on god. I debate with my mother and my inlaws all the time about their Narrow minded ideas that were forced down their throats from childhood.
My take is: If one bible is wrong, then couldn't they all be? Who has that much power in the Christian Faith to say that the Buhdist are wrong? could Buddah not have been another son of the God that I know? I mean the King James Bible after all is just a history book.

So, with respect to what, are u saying that our knowledge is limited? well yes, it is. Its the same with god as well, i guess. On what grounds did u say that god is infinity, have u seen his infinity ? its not that I'm an atheist or something, its just that we humans are in the habit of assuming things very soon.
but yes, who are we to limit anyone in this universe, why only god??

I think it is a great question. Indeed God is simply infinite on ALL dimensions, beyond them all. The moment we try to describe or even conceptualize Him, we create flawed impressions and understanding, because we finite beings have no capability to do that properly. It is our faulty attempts to place limiting attributes on God, that causes contradictions and illogical concepts and gives birth to so many disbelievers and cynics. One who truly believes in God should merely believe and neither try to know nor explain what God is... such attempts can only create flawed image of God.

That is a great question. We cannot limit Him with our limited knowledge. Something surprising always springs up from above.Just that, we have to be humble about our knowledge and our work is best done .

It is the first likeness noticed in the sense of God being the all-knowing, and thus we have generated within ourselves that same self-sense of all-knowing, even though it is ultimately evidently not true, by virtue of it being dependent, and not innate...
Apparently no-one has liked my answer.... Perhaps they could contact me and explain its import back to me with its flaws....?
God bless.
