I've spent 25 years pronouncing my surname (Roehmholdt) as rome-holt, but I've only recently found variations of my surname and traced it back to its various German forms, they are:

Röhmholdt
Rehmholdt
Röhmholt
Rehmholt

I'm trying to narrow down how my surname has changed since my ancestors came to the US from Germany. A Google search finds evidence of a "Röhmholdt", but I'd love to know the history of the surname. Cheers!

I am a creative person, but right now I have a "Creative Block" (same thing as writer's block). How can I get my "Creative Juices" flowing and come up with good ideas? I don't want ideas, I want to know how I can become more creative. I am starting to make some short comics, but just can't get any good ideas.

...our high school is doing it. One problem- I'm not in high school! I'd like to audition for the high school chorus but I'm only in 8th grade. They're also doing a children's chorus (where you have to be 5 ft tall and under, and they're strict about it!!!) but I'm 5 ft 1 in.! I'd really like to get into the high school chorus but I'm scared I won't get in. They also probably won't let me into the children's chorus because I'm more than 5'!!! Advice for auditioning?

I want to start acting... How can I do it? I wanna be in some movies as a teen. But no big parts or something... I have stage fright, though... So what should I do? Well, I guess it started during slavery. I remember learning slaves used to sing religious songs as a code, but that's about all I remember. I don't even think that has much to do with shaping religion. Please help. Sources would be nice so I could be sure that you remember correctly, but anything would be appreciated.
