I need new books to read. I like fantasy, historical fiction, and realistic fiction.
I've read the Harry Potter books, Eragon and Eldest, and His Dark Matireals.
Can I get books at a high school reading level?

I once tried to write a story about college football, but it didn't seem to work out. I gave up on it because I read over what I wrote on the characters playing football, and it was totally cheesy. Can someone tell me how to write a good football story?

Of course, I consider the A's you get are either equally important or more important as the asking of the Q's. My focus is on the internal feedback you get when you formulate and ask the Q's before you actually get any A's to your Q's. Please, can you include in your A how many Q's you have asked at YA in support of your A to my Q? That datum would indicate the degree of experience you have formulating Q's at YA, an activity which I think YA penalizes while rewarding only the A's.

Context comment: While I admit that I believe asking Q's is more important than posting A's, hence my Q to those who think or believe as I do, I am focused on knowing if you believe asking Q's is beneficial to you and your explanation of how so.

For my English assignment, we have to write a children's book. It has to be at least 6 pages long. I know, it sounds way easy, but here's the catch. We have to use a general idea and then make it our own. For example, Toy Story. There have been a lot of stories where toys come to life, but they took that idea, and made their own story out of it. Do you have any suggestions I can use? Thanks.

It's a publishing company that I just stumbled upon and I've never heard of them before and I'm curious on the matters of reliability and to solidify that they're not a self-publishing company. All input is appreciated and thank you.

I was looking at an old history textbook and read a little significant part in a chapter about Russia. In the 16th century, Russia was surrounded by the powerful Swedes, Lithuanians, and Poles in the west, and by the Turks and Crimean Tatars in the south. It is significant that when Tsar Ivan IV (ruled from 1553 to 1584) proposed a military alliance and even suggested marriage to Queen Elizabeth I of England, the king of Poland hastily wrote to Elizabeth and begged her to reject the proposition. The Polish king wrote that "up to now, we could conquer him [Ivan The Terrible] only because he was a stranger to education and did not know the arts".

I'm now thinking of an alternate outcome based on the above information. What if Elizabeth actually accepted Ivan's alliance and marriage proposal? What would a Russo-English alliance bring to history? How long would the alliance last? How would this affect England, Russia, and the rest of the world?
