It says like everything thinks that they are always 'thinking outside the box', but if everyone is always doing that, then they actually aren't thinking outside the box, right? How do I know when I'm actually thinking outside the box?

Click the link below, read the article and let's discuss artificial life support. Given the facts of the article, I'm concerned how the mother says she wants her son to die "naturally, the way God intended." But wouldn't "naturally" be without artificial life support? The machines are keeping him alive, not God. I know that most believers in "god" would come back with the fact that those machines are there because of "his" will… but given the facts of just THIS article, how does that play out?

How many times can people ask this question on here. Do they really expect anyone to come up with anything original that hasn't been said a million times before?!

it's either - a) there is no predefined meaning - you must find your own (the existentialist)

or b) we are here to follow the word of God (the view of faith)

or c) don't worry, do anything you want, be happy (the nihilist).

That's about your options Guys. So take your choice, but please stop asking this ''question''!!

I have an awesome idea for a movie! But the only way I think it can go somewhere is if I wrote it as a novel. I'm only a freshman in high school, do you think it's even possible to start writting and make it a novel that will go somewhere, like into movies for instance? Do you have any suggestions or sites with good information that will help me write?? If so, don't hesitate to write...Thank you so much!!!

Can any one give me two good death poets b american poets that are pretty long if not medium size. Also they have to not be by Emily Dickinson, or the Raven since i already got that down but another Edgar A Poe poem would work fantastic. Thanks in advance!

I have to write a poem or two for graduation. Problem is, I don't know what to write about. I have to get up and read it during the ceremony, btw. I usually write poems that are more sad and wistful than happy. (I'm not emo) So, do you guys and gals have any ideas what would be a good topic that goes with the theme of graduating?

when some idea u had about life is, or maybe some long-held belief u had about urself suddenly vanishes like darkness when a light is turned on? It's a subtle shift, n then you wonder how u never noticed that u were walking around with those blinders on...

A new belief or idea isn't picked up in place of the one dropped...all picking up or putting down just vanishes...insight, and a new feeling of lightness...

Hi, I am currently looking for an art class in LA area.
I have seen some art classes but they seem to lack the
discipline I am looking for. Mostly what I have found is
people teaching for recreational and not for the real matter
of improving.

what are the best questions to ask when finding a class?

In other words, how is a class supposed to be broken down?

Hands on training?
Technique?
Discipline?
Critique?
Home practice?
By learning technique? If so what is technique?

what is the best way to define the perfect art class.

If I have never taken an art class what should I expect in one that is good or one that is not good?

I certainly don't want to go to a class where students
are left out drawing somewhere, being able to leave after they done
and not receiving critique for what they have done as how to learn.

I really what someone to tell me that what I am doing wrong
and what I should be doing to move forward in my craft.

What do you suggest?

I have to confess that I have not read a book since "The DaVinci Code". Now that I finally have a little time on my hands I would like to start reading again but I don't even know where to start. I like both fiction and non fiction, biographies, histories and historical novels, mysteries and intrigue ...no fluff or romance novels. I would really appreciate some recommendations.
