Because as we get older, we begin to realize that there's so much to do with so little time. When we're younger, time dragged on because there didn't seem to be any 'tomorrow' or 'future.'

It's because of experience. If you have ever watched a video on the internet, you know that the second time you watch it, it goes faster. The same is true of the stages of life. The more they repeat, the faster they get. Also, as you perception grows, you begin to notice that time isn't really as long as you think it is.

That hasn't been my experience and most of my friends aren't experiencing this. I do meditate regularly, do yoga and
keep very creative with how I live my life. I also keep a list (because my memory isn't as good as it used to be) of things
I'm looking forward to-and always make sure there are plenty of them. It could be something as simple as a special meal or my fav tv series returns in June. :)

maybe it's because the older a person gets, the less things or events are perceived as a new experience. nothing is new anymore, and so a lot of things or events seem to pass by quickly.
