We certify to you that, with the help of God, we shall powerfully enter into your country and shall make war against you in all ways and manners that we can, and shall subject you to the yoke and obedience of the Church and of Their Highnesses. We shall take you and your wives and your children, and shall make slaves of them, and as such shall sell and dispose of them as Their Highnesses may command. And we shall take your goods, and shall do you all the mischief and damage that we can, as to vassals who do not obey and refuse to receive their lord and resist and contradict him."

To what extent could it be argued that the Punic, whilst a military victory, were an unmitigated disaster for Roman society in the 2nd centuary BCE?

My great grandmother worked for Lord Battenburg in London. She was a maid and after having children went back to work in the laundry. Apparently she would bring home second hand clothes from the job. Would there be a record of her being employed there. I don't know which residence it was. Her name was Mary Hurley nee Sullivan, originally from Ireland.

My step-father Yaro Hoffmann died April 3, 2007 in Medford Oregon. He was a circus performer & tiger trainer who appeared late-march in Portland, OR and Washington State.
Risking extraordinary harm every show by going into a steel arena with a half-dozen tigers, his untimely death came by ordinary means.

If anyone took any pictures or video of the shows, especially on April 1, I would be extremely grateful to obtain a copy/CD burn for my family. If you know of any newspaper articles or photographs which were done on Oregon, I would like to get some copies and contact those elements of the press. I want to see if I could get pictures of their last times performing.

Additionally, if you saw my tiger-training parents in some other venue over the last 20 years in a circus, fair or festival I'd be thrilled to get full-quality pictures from you.

Were Jews in any sense originally Palestinians who didn't convert after the spread of Islam? Or are the two peoples fundamentally separate?

is it possible to stick a metal sheet on a ceramic before it is kilned and later cover it again with ceramic to hide the sheet? in other words, can i glue a metal plate on my old ceramic vase and cover it with ceramic paste again? Can I prevent the shrinking of the fresh clay by just bisque firing, or leaving it under sunlight instead of kilning, will it help if I wax the old ceramic before putting on the second layer?

i need to hide the metal sheet in two layers, it's a kind of school project so ANY COMMENTS or DIFFERENT IDEAS ARE WELCOME.

thanks

Do you see yourself with this paradox ? Absoluteness is always individual. Judgement is always guided by purpose . I would put it this way-Life is nothing but purpose -No purpose , no life

Had anyone read books about OSHO?
THe guy wrote books about "maturity"
He said " living accordingly to your natural adolescence age will lead to more stable and peaceful life, this kind of life will reveal the answer to the question " what is the meaning of life"

Moreover, he said " We need to listen to nature voice, when it said to us "this is a time for love", we should love, when nature said it is time to let go, just let it go..." (sorry my english)

I dont' know if you would agree but From his saying, it seems like we need some kind of "freedom" to do like that, and it seems like our society are not treating the issue rights...i dont' know what do u think???
