Maude: What kind of flower would you like to be?
Harold: I don't know. One of these, maybe.(points to a huge bed of daisies)
Maude: Why do you say that?
Harold: Because they're all alike.
Maude: Oh, but they're NOT! Look. See, some are smaller; some are
fatter; some grow to the left, some to the right; some even have lost
some petals. All kinds of observable differences! You see, Harold, I
feel that much of the world's sorrow comes from people who are *this*,(points to one daisy)
yet allow themselves to be treated as *that*. (points to the huge bed of daisies)

I've been giving a writing assignment as part as a job interview for a script writer for a series of children's animations

But i'm worried they'll just use my idea in the assignment for their series and not hire me, should I copyright my work? or will they take offense and get angry with me?

and is copyrighting my work simply putting © 2007 and my name at the bottom?

Are they incompatible, or can there be an amalgamation of free will and determinism?

For example, could it be that inconsequential (or seemingly inconsequential) events are not determined, but that grave events are?

Maybe I will eat an apple today. Or, I may choose a candy bar. Maybe it will have some impact on future events, especially if we were to go far enough in the future. But what if something of this nature has no impact at all on the future?

Perhaps these trivial matters are not governed by fate. Maybe it will not matter if I watch T.V. or read a book tomorrow.

But maybe it does matter if I choose to become a politician, or if I choose (through what may be an illusion of choice) to work as a janitor instead as a career choice. Could these seemingly more important selections be preordained?

But if determinism is true, then how can God hold us accountable for our sins?

What if it is a specific class name like, solutions in math? How about freshman in school? What I've read suggests no, but I wanted to check. Also how about this sentence, did I cap. it correctly? "I hope you haven't pulled The Chariot card again." In a deck of tarot, the wording on the card is capitalized.

I asked the question about my ***** culling her pups, I recieved many answers mostly No's, I would now like a follow up. Why have so many people said NO, and what are your reasons?
(justify your reasons, becase the bottom line is, that they are animals and all animals cull their young if they think there is a problem or an imperfection, its a survival pattern. If we spay our
Bitches at home due to this, then why aren't people going out there in the wild to stop the same thing happening?Because Nature determines life & death not only for animals but for humans.

Are human rights fundamentally freedoms TO or freedoms FROM?

I am free FROM anyone stopping me from flapping my arms and flying, but I am not free TO flap my arms to fly -- gravity has some objections!

Does society work best when we have "negative" freedoms -- society won't stop me from X -- or when we have "positive" freedoms -- society will guarantee you X?

Are we free-er when we all have negative freedoms (freedoms from) or positive freedoms (freedoms to)?

Letting go

Love is hard to leave
Letting go is harder than seems
A sweet gentle is all you might miss
But to someone else it’s heavenly bliss
Letting go doesn’t mean to stop loving
It means to stop hurting

Forgetting is hard to do
A kiss can’t be forgotten
A touch is easy to miss
To love and forget is highly impossible
Letting go doesn’t mean to forget the memories
It means to stop letting them haunt you
