When cholera broke out when you were camped in Poland why didn't you turn back? Much of your army was to sick to go on. This delayed your invasion of Russia by months. So when you did invade Russia it was late in the season and winter would soon be coming on. Your men wouldn't have the proper clothing for a Russian winter. Also didn't you realize that your supply lines were stretched too far?
