All humans are a roll of the dice. But, God, the creator, who is all knowing, who knows the beginning from the end, knew that John the Babtist would be the cousin He needed to help predict the coming of the Christ.

We are all chance complicated by the truth of who we are and what we become.& how God uses our lives.

I don't believe so. John's life was a part of God's plan. No chance involved.
